We are in the process of cleaning up our club roster information with the Browns Backers Worldwide site.  As part of this process we removed duplicate entries and and are in the process of determining if inactive members should still be listed.  If you received an email saying that your membership could not be processed and you think this is in error, please contact us.

If your account is considered inactive, we have already emailed you separately about this.  If we found that your profile has some incorrect information we have also already sent you an email tonight.

We will be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk again this year. Our club fundraising goal is $1000.

We will meet at Stanely’s in the morning before the walk and then carpool to Rodney Square. We will return to Stanley’s immediately after the walk to watch the Browns take on the Steelers at 1:00pm.

Making Strides Wilmington 2009

We had a good turnout for week one: we counted over 50 people upstairs at Stanley’s during the game. It was great to see all of our old friends and all of the new members! If you’d like to join but missed signing up during week one don’t worry, you can sign up at any time.

Now we just need the team to do a little better next week.

Stanley’s just informed us that they have installed a 120″ HiDef screen upstairs that we will be using for the games!

We will also have some smaller TVs to keep up with other games. On Sundays Stanley’s will have 2-for-1 wings and a $2.25 draft special. The have plenty of room upstairs so make sure that you let people know everyone is invited.

50/50:  In addition to the normal cash and prizes for the 50/50 raffle we will also be drawing tickets for entries into a year-end prize drawing. We’ll have more details about the year-end prizes during the game.

You are invited to the Delaware Valley Browns Backers Season Kickoff Party at Stanley’s Tavern while the Browns take on Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings!

We’d love to have you as official members of the club but you don’t have to be a member to join us on Sundays! Everyone is welcome (even fans of the other team).
